KEGIATAN WEBINAR NASIONAL PARENTING PGPAUD UNIMED 2021

PGPAUD FIP UNIMED menyelenggarakan Webinar Nasional Parenting dengan tema Creative Parenting Style “Can We Be Creative Parents?” padahariRabu, 21 April 2021 dengan menghadirkan dua Pemateri/Narasumber yaitu Bapak Angga Setyawan seorang Praktisi Parenting & Founder Anak Juga Manusia dan Ibu Dr. Nasriah, M. Pd., yang merupakan Dosen PGPAUD FIP UNIMED. Acara ini dipandu oleh Indah Reina Shalma selaku MC yang juga merupakan mahasiswa PGPAUD UNIMED. Webinar Nasional Parenting ini dihadari oleh ratusan orang yang terdiridari Guru/Pendidik, Mahasiswa, Orang Tua dan masyarakat dari sejumlah daerah. Adapun materi yang disampaikan oleh kedua Pemateri yaitu “Membangun Mentalitas dan Spiritual Anak melalui Pendidikan Moral” yang disampaikan oleh Bapak Angga Setyawan dan “Pengaplikasian Pola Asuh” oleh Dosen besar Universitas Negeri Medan yaitu Ibu Dr. Nasriah, M. Pd.

Pemateri/Narasumber menyampaikan bahwa keluarga merupakan tempat pertama bagi pembentukan dan pendidikan anak. Selain itu, rumah dan orang tua adalah sekolah pertama yang dikenal oleh anak. Karena itu, peran orang tua sangatlah penting karena melalui orang tualah anak akan belajar mengenai nilai-nilai dan norma sebelum anak memasuki Pendidikan di Sekolah. Orang tua harus memberikan contoh dan teladan yang baik bagi anak-anaknya, karena anak adalah peniru yang ulung. Anak akan belajar melalui apa yang dilihat dan didengarnya. Maka dari itu, orang tua harus sangat berhati-hati dalam berperilaku maupun bertutur kata. Melihat masih banyaknya masalah tentang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dalam lingkungan keluarga, diharapkan pemaparan dari Pemateri dapat membuka pikiran masyarakat luas agar dapat menerapkan metode-metode pembentukan karakter anak dan pola asuh yang tepat. Kata “parenting” di sini juga bukan hanya sekedar mengasuh anak, namun orang tua bertanggung jawab untuk mendidik, membimbing dan melindungi setiap perkembangan anaknya. Dengan terlaksananya Webinar Parenting ini semoga dapat memberikan manfaat dalam menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan untuk orang tua, guru, dan juga mahasiswa dalam hal pengasuhan anak sesuai dengan usia dan aspek perkembangannya.
