Ratusan Mahasiswa PLS dan PG-PAUD Gelar Temu Ramah Alumni dan Mahasiswa

Medan (Unimed) – Ratusan mahasiswa mengikuti menggelar Temu Ramah Alumni dan Mahasiswa PLS dan PG-PAUD yang dilaksanakan oleh HMJ Pendidikan Luar Sekolah/PG-PAUD. Acara tersebut mengangkat tema “Membangun Generasi Muda PLS dan PG-PAUD yang Solid dan Berkarakter” dilaksanakan di Ruang Serbaguna Digilib Unimed Lt. IV(19/03). Acara tersebut dibuka oleh Wakil Dekan I FIP, Prof. Dr. Yusnadi, MS.

Pada pembukaan acara beliau mengapresiasi kegiatan temu ramah yang dilaksanakan oleh HMJ PLS, semoga kegiatan seperti ini diharap sering dilakukan karena dengan diadakannya acara seperti ini dapat terus menjalin dan meningkatkan silahturahim antara alumni dengan mahasiswa aktif PLS dan PG-PAUD sehingga keharmonisan antara alumni dan mahasiswa semakin solid. Beliau juga mengatakan dengan acara seperti ini mahasiswa dan alumni bisa saling sharing pengalaman alumni di dunia kerja.

Lanjut Beliau, PLS dan PG-PAUD merupakan satu satuan pendidikan dan satu Dirjen di BPPAUDNI. PAUD yang konsen pada pendidikan anak dan PLS sebagai pengelola ataupun sebagai mitranya. Jadi PLS dan PG-PAUD ini harus solid dan saling mendukung satu sama lain.

Pada kesempatan itu juga, Prof. Yusnadi mengingatkan pada saat ini kita berada pada abad 21, kemajuan teknologi dan jaman 4.0 era digitalisasi. Sehingga menuntut kita terus update pada perkembangan jaman, saya tidak ingin menghasilkan lulusan yang expired (kadaluarsa) yang tidak dapat dipakai di masa depan. Kita akan dorong terus mahasiswa menjadi kreatif dan inovatif, dengan lintasan-lintasan pendidikan yang disesuaikan dengan jaman. Sehingga lulusan PLS dan PG-PAUD nantinya dapat bersaing di masyarakat.

Ketua Jurusan PLS, Dra. Rosdiana, M.Pd. mengatakan sebenarnya kegiatan ini sudah lama dirancang dan direncanakan, namun baru kali ini dapat dilaksanakan. Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada panitia yang sudah bekerja keras demi terwujudnya acara ini. Dan terima kasih kepada para alumni yang telah hadir, semoga dapat membimbing dan memberikan informasi kepada adik-adik mahasiswa dan jurusan. (Humas Unimed).
