Prodi PG PAUD FIP UNIMED Gelar “2nd PAUD EXPO” dengan tema “Menjadikan Pendidik Berkompeten dan Jiwa Sportivitas Tinggi Menuju Pendidikan Indonesia yang Berkarakter”.

MEDAN – Prodi PG PAUD Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) Unimed menggelar “2nd PAUD EXPO” dengan tema “Menjadikan Pendidik Berkompeten dan Jiwa Sportivitas Tinggi Menuju Pendidikan Indonesia yang Berkarakter”. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 2 hari yang dimulai senin, 21- 22 November 2018 di Pelataran FIP.  Kegiatan ini dibuka oleh Wakil Dekan III Drs. Edidon Hutasuhut, M.Pd.

Adapun jumlah dari seluruh peserta dari kegiatan ini 561 peserta yang diantaranya adalah mahasiswa, guru dan anak usia dini yang berasal dari berbagai kota yang ada di Sumatera Utara. Turut hadir pada acara tersebut Wakil Dekan II Dr. Elizon Nainggolan, Ketua Prodi Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Kamtini, S.Pd, M.Pd serta mahasiswa dan dosen-dosen Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan.

Acara 2nd PAUD EXPO ini diramaikan dengan berbagai jenis lomba yang dibagi atas tiga kategori. Adapun perlombaan untuk tiap-tiap kategori tersebut adalah Lomba untuk anak usia dini terdiri atas estafet, mewarnai, cerita bertema, fashion show, dan tari tradisional. Lomba untuk guru paud terdiri dari mendongeng, membuat media pembelajaran dan senam guru dan anak. Yang terakhir lomba untuk mahasiswa terdiri dari mendongeng, membuat media pembelajaran dan tari kreasi.

Ketua pelaksana Kamtini, S.Pd, M.Pd mengatakan dalam sambutannya, “Acara ini merupakan agenda dua tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh IMA PG PAUD UNIMED sebagai bentuk partisipasi kami dalam dunia pendidikan. Mari kita sama-sama mendukung Pendidikan anak sejak usia dini supaya Bangsa kita akan lebih maju, lebih pintar dan jenius,”.
