PELAKSANAAN PAMB DARING FAKULTAS ILMU PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MEDAN

Medan – Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan telah melaksanakan kegiatan PAMB (Pengenalan Awal Mahasiswa Baru) pada hari Sabtu 5 September 2020. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama dua hari berturut-turut mulai dari hari Jumat dengan tingkat Universitas dan hari kedua yaitu hari Sabtu dengan tingkat Fakultas. PAMB tingkat fakultas dibuka oleh Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Bapak Prof. Dr. Yusnadi, M.S serta dihadiri oleh pimpinan fakultas, pimpinan jursan/prodi, dosen, staff, dan perwakilan organisasi mahasiswa di FIP. PAMB ini dilaksanakan melalui daring (dalam jaringan) dengan menggunakan aplikasi Zoom Meeting dan dibagi menjadi dua sesi: Sesi pertama bersama fakultas dan sesi kedua bersama jurusan/prodi. Walaupun dilaksanakan secara daring, kegiatan PAMB ini tetap berjalan dengan lancar dan kondusif.

Peserta PAMB ini dihadiri oleh para mahasiswa baru dari semua jurusan yang ada di FIP, yaitu: Jurusan PGSD, Jurusan PG PAUD, Jurusan PPBK dan Jurusan Penmas. Kegiatan PAMB ini merupakan bekal bagi mahasiswa baru dalam menjalankan kehidupan kampusnya di FIP UNIMED dan diharapkan dapat mempererat hubungan antara tenaga kependidikan dengan mahasiswa baru. Berdasarkan artikel FIP UNIMED yang berjudul “FIP UNIMED Sukses Laksanakan PAMB Secara Virtual” dinyatakan bahwa ada empat kegiatan yang dilaksanakan saat sesi pertama, diantaranya: (1) Sambutan dan pembukaan kegiatan PAMB dari Dekan FIP, (2) Tayangan video profil FIP, (3) Pengenalan fungsionaris di tingkat fakultas dan jurusan/program studi, dan (4) Penyerahan mahasiswa dari Wakil Dekan III kepada masing-masing Ketua Jurusan/Program Studi. Setelah kegiatan ke-empat maka berakhirlah sesi pertama dan dilanjutkan sesi kedua dengan jurusan/prodi masing-masing. “Ananda semua, kegiatan dan berbagai program yang akan Anda ikuti selama kuliah di FIP akan dijelaskan secara spesifik di tingkat jurusan/program studi. Mohon semua kegiatan Anda ikuti dengan baik”, pesan Dekan di sesi penutupan acara. (FIP Unimed. 2020. https://fip.unimed.ac.id/ 15 Oktober 2020). Pada sesi kedua pelaksanaan PAMB, ada beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan khususnya di jurusan PG PAUD. Beberapa kegiatan tersebut diantaranya adalah: (1) Perkenalan dengan dosen, (2) Pengenalan organisasi di prodi PG PAUD (IMA PG PAUD), dan (3) Penjelsan pengisian KRS.  Walaupun PAMB 2020 ini dilaksanakan secara daring, mahasiswa baru tetap menyambutnya dengan antusias.
