5TH EXPO PG-PAUD UNIMED

           PG-PAUD FIP UNIMED telah menyelenggarakan EXPO dengan tema “Seribu Bahagia Dimasa New Normal”. Acara EXPO ini dilaksanakan pada hari Kamis, 25 November 2021 yang dipandu oleh Indah Reina Shalma dan Elisa Kusumawati selaku MC. Adapun kata sambutan disampaikan oleh Ketua Panitia yaitu Nany Anggini Lubis, Ketua Prodi yaitu Ibu Suri Handayani Damanik, S.Psi., M.Psi dan Dekan FIP UNIMED yaitu Bapak Prof. Dr. Yusnadi, MS sekaligus membuka acara. Adapun Core Event pada acara ini yaitu Penayangan Lomba Kategori Anak (lomba bercerita, mewarnai dan bernyanyi), Penayangan Lomba Kategori Mahasiswa (lomba membuat media pembelajaran, menciptakan lagu anak dan karya tulis ilmiah), serta Penayangan Lomba Kategori Guru (lomba membuat video pembelajaran dan lomba mendongeng). Acara ini ditutup dengan pemberitahuan dan mengingatkan peserta untuk menghadiri kegiatan Webinar yang dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat tanggal 26 November 2021 sekaligus pengumuman pemenang lomba.

               Acara EXPO ini diisi juga dengan kegiatan Webinar yang dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat, 26 November 2021 dengan tema “Kreativitas dalam Mengembangkan Literasi Dasar untuk Anak Usia Dini”. Pada kesempatan ini, PG-PAUD FIP UNIMED menghadirkan dua Pemateri/Narasumber yaitu Ibu Peny Husna Handayani, S.Pd., M.Pd yang merupakan Dosen PG-PAUD FIP UNIMED dan Ibu Dr. Yeni Rachmawati, M.Pd., Ph.D yang merupakan Dosen UPI Bandung. Acara Webinar ini dipandu oleh Ibu Winda Widya Sari M.Pd selaku Moderator dan Indah Reina Shalma selaku MC. Adapun kata sambutan disampaikan oleh Ketua Panitia yaitu Nany Anggini Lubis, Ketua Prodi yaitu Ibu Suri Handayani Damanik, S.Psi., M.Psi dan Dekan FIP UNIMED yaitu Bapak Prof. Dr. Yusnadi, MS sekaligus membuka acara Webinar.

           Dalam pemaparan materi tentang Literasi Dasar untuk Anak Usia Dini, Narasumber menyampaikan bahwasanya tingkat Literasi Indonesia masih tergolong sangat rendah. Sementara itu, Bangsa yang besar adalah bangsa yang memiliki masyarakat yang literat, yaitu masyarakat yang memiliki kecakapan hidup, mampu bersaing dan bersanding dengan bangsa lain untuk menciptakan kesejahteraan dunia. Untuk mencapai itu, ada beberapa literasi yang harus kita kuasai yaitu :

  1. Literasi Baca Tulis dengan melakukan kegiatan berbicara dan mendengarkan, pemahaman/pengenalan buku, pemahaman kata dan bunyi, pengenalan huruf atau alphabet dan pemahaman/pengenalan tulisan
  2. Literasi Numerasi meliputi konsep bilangan, keterampilan operasi hitung dan menginterprestasikan informasi kuantitatif yang ada dalam kehidupan sehari-hari
  3. Literasi Sains berarti kemampuan untuk membentuk pola pikir, perilaku dan membangun karakter sehingga peduli dan bertanggung jawab terhadap dirinya, masyarakat dan alam semesta
  4. Literasi Digital yaitu kecakapan menggunakan media digital dengan beretika dan bertanggung jawab untuk memperoleh informasi dan berkomunikasi
  5. Literasi Financial yaitu pengetahuan dan kecakapan untuk mengaplikasikan pemahaman tentang konsep, resiko, keterampilan dan motivasi dalam konteks finansial
  6. Literasi Budaya dan Kewargaan merupakan kemampuan dalam memahami dan bersikap tentang kebudayaan serta memahami hak dan kewajibannya sebagai warga negara

   Adapun strategi kreatif pengembangan literasi dasar anak usia dini dapat dilakukan dengan empat cara yaitu :

  1. Play with nature yaitu menggunakan bahan alam dalam pembelajaran ataupun untuk membuat suatu karya. Misalnya menggunakan air perasan daun untuk mewarnai, bermain balok menggunakan batang pohong, membuat karya menarik dengan buah, daun dan bunga
  2. Long project yaitu kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Misalnya membuat robot dari potongan ranting dan batang pohon
  3. Ray of light yaitu belajar dengan cahaya sebagai sumber belajar yang berkelimpahan. Misalnya cerminan, bayangan, menjelajahi dan percobaan fisika yang dapat meningkatkan kerohanian
  4. Loose parts yaitu bahan yang dapat dipindahkan, dibawa, digabungkan, dirancang ulang, dipisahkan dan disatukan kembali dengan berbagai cara untuk menciptakan kreasi tanpa batas dalam aktivitas pembelajaran

         Acara Webinar ini pun dilanjutkan dengan diskusi yang aktif dan ditutup dengan pengumuman hasil perlombaan
